Rohan appoints Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software

Rohan, specialist manufacturer of light weight outdoor and travel clothing, has appointed Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software to streamline its recruitment process.

The rapid expansion of the business meant that the company needed to find a way to recruit good staff for its 37 UK shops – both for the shops and for other functions – more quickly and efficiently.

Ian Palmer, retail and HR director at Rohan said: “Thanks to the Vacancy Filler system, we already operate our recruitment process in a much more professional manner than before – and much more cost-effectively too.”

Palmer added: “The Vacancy Filler filter function allows us to quickly highlight suitable applicants. We filter by looking for specific skills in the CVs, meaning that we are able to get better quality candidates while at the same time they are easier to find. We can now get adverts out to many job boards and our website in pretty much minutes. We can get to the interview stage in a much faster time and the quality of candidate that we are seeing is much stronger. This all saves on money of course, but the really big savings are in the reduction in reliance on paying recruitment agency fees.”

Tony Brookes, sales director, Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software said: “Organisations are increasingly seeing the benefits in terms of cost saving, quality of hire and efficiency from using state-of-the-art recruitment platforms, particularly those that are quick and easy to implement and offer both flexibility and compatibility with existing company systems and ways of working.”
