Investments you should make that aren’t stocks
There are a few smash hit movies that show us that investing small bucks in some stocks and shares at the right time can land you making millions.
Now, there is no denying that this can be financially beneficial and anyone who has been investing in the latest cryptocurrencies (or “neueste kryptowährungen” as they call it on the Kryptoszene website) will know just how fruitful this sort of investment can be. However, while that works out for some people and it is always worthwhile to dream big, there are a couple of investments that you can make that aren’t stocks or shares. In fact, they’re things for you.
First things first
Invest in some learning for yourself. It doesn’t matter if you’re the most qualified brain surgeon in the world, or a world-class marketer with more PhDs than you know what to do with – learning is never wasted. You might choose to do something out of your comfort zone, that you haven’t tried before. Perhaps you’ve always loved the circus, and that is what you want to do. Whatever you really love, you should invest time or money (sometimes both) in that. Hobbies are great for our mental health and give us a chance to relax, so this investment is perfect.
A car
You might not think you need one, after all, public transport is pretty fantastic, even if it can be a little bit weird from time to time. But, what about that one time your friend in another state or city needs you, and you have no way to get there. Perhaps, you have always dreamed about getting into a car and driving off into the sunset for once, just to see what it felt like. You don’t have to know what type of car you want, you can check out these popular car brands to get a good idea of what is out there. Sometimes a road trip is exactly what the doctor ordered. And who knows where that adventure might take you!
A good pair of shoes
In the world of fast fashion, rarely do people make good investments when it comes to clothing. It is always about the latest trends, this season’s colors, and styles. But, having a good pair of all-weather boots should be a priority on everyone’s list. When you are searching for these amazing boots, remember they probably aren’t going to be cheap. Look for something that laces up rather than zips, zips are more likely to fail at a certain point – laces can be replaced much more easily. Look for a supportive instep and something that is sturdy around the ankle.
A therapist or mentor
The truth is, we usually don’t know how much we need to talk until we have someone who is trained to listen. If you are looking to improve your skills, launch a business or make strides in your career, look for a mentor who has a track record in what you need. If you would like to talk to someone, about life, work, your relationships, or pretty much anything, head to a therapist and unload what you’re carrying around once a month. It is up to you the type you chose, whether it be the type with a cup of chai or a notepad and textbooks.
