NFRN supports Small Business Saturday 2015

The NFRN was delighted to be in attendance at the national launch of 2015’s Small Business Saturday campaign.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of small businesses by encouraging consumers to dedicate one shopping Saturday in December to visiting their local independent retailers.

This year Small Business Saturday will take place on Saturday 5th December.

The campaign has produced a ‘community toolkit’ to help small businesses make the most of the day by encouraging consumers to keep coming back all year round. There is also a bus tour which will take the whole of the UK during the month of November and you can download marketing and promotional packs from the campaign website.

NFRN National President Ralph Patel said: “Small businesses come in a variety of forms and whilst many of our members may not feel this campaign is for them I can confirm that it is! I encourage all members to make the most of this campaign and showcase their store as the invaluable asset to the local community that it is.”

NFRN chief executive Paul Baxter added: “We are pleased to be working with Small Business Saturday again this year and hope to increase engagement amongst our members to ensure they see the benefit of this important campaign.”
