T4 opens first UK tea bar and store

CBRE, the commercial property and real estate services advisor, is advising on the opening of the UK’s first T4 Taiwanese tea store in Westfield Stratford City, London.

T4 is one of the largest Taiwanese tea brands with locations globally that sell to millions of customers each year. The opening of its first UK store at such a high profile location demonstrates T4’s ambition to expand into the UK market, capitalising on the growing popularity of Taiwanese tea-based drinks and snacks. The 537 square foot T4 store in Westfield Stratford City will be open for business by the beginning of May 2015, selling high quality Taiwanese tea, including the popular bubble tea.

Tom Stanbury, director, CBRE Retail said: “The tea and coffee retail space is expanding rapidly and we are delighted to be able to play a part in helping bring a global brand such as T4 to the UK. T4 is already highly successful in Asia and the U.S, particularly in California which is a big trend setter for the UK food and beverage industry. This is why a highly prestigious location within Westfield Stratford City will be so important to their successful launch and expansion into the UK.”
