The results show treating your loved one online can save you up to 34%. £43.15 is the amount consumers can expect to pay when purchasing one of the most popular men’s aftershaves on the high street, compared to the average online price of £28.67.
Even when delivery costs are taken into account, the savings are still impressive: you’ll pay an average £11.43 less online– and that’s not considering any other potential costs involved with high street shopping, such as petrol and parking. A quick analysis of twelve popular online fragrance retailers shows that the average delivery cost is under £2.50, with three offering completely free UK delivery.
Buying women’s fragrances online, also has the potential to leave you with a tidy saving. The average price for a perfume on idealo is £31.24. This saves you £12.46 or 28% compared to the average price at a popular high street fragrance retailer.
