WIN! The No.27 Type II Black, Black and Steel watch from The Camden Watch Company!

Talk Retail has teamed up with The Camden Watch Company, a British independent design team to win one of their striking unisex timepieces, the No. 27 Type II.

Founded in 2014 by the Anglo-Swiss husband and wife duo Anneke Short and Jerome Robert, The Camden Watch Company timepieces are designed in Camden, inspired by British heritage and the rich industrial past and vibrant present of the local area.

Having worked in the watch design and making for a number of years for other well-known watch brands, Anneke and Jerome were eager to create something of their own which reflected their style and their surroundings in the heart of Camden.

Starting with a small space in the Stables Market, after a couple of years and the company growing, they expanded to stores in Shoreditch and Greenwich Market. And they now have a new bigger space still within the Camden Stables Market which gives consumers the chance to see all their watches displayed as well as other merchandise such as their five-star press reviewed waxed canvas backpacks.

Now with lockdown easing, we have teamed with them for one lucky person to win the No.27 Type II Black, Black and Steel watch.

The No.27 Type II is a modern unisex timepiece that takes its cues from vintage clocks and pocket watches. The design has been stripped back to leave a minimalist face free of clutter. Its arrowed seconds hand is styled on pressure gauge indicators, which needed to be quick and easy to read in a simple glance.

The brushed finish to the bezel ensures that the dial is very much the focus of this watch, while the contrasting polished side of the bezel lends a touch of class to the overall feel of the watch.

The dial itself is slightly curved, lending the watch a touch of luxury, and the numbers are all styled on old-school British type fonts, used sparingly enough to not come across as over the top or gimmicky.

It features a textured leather strap which is thick lending a refined yet robust feel to the watch.
