Zeta Specialist Lighting wins Sign Product of the Year 2014

Zeta Specialist Lighting’s Solar Signage kit was revealed as the overall winner in the Sign Product of the Year category, at the British Sign Awards.

The inaugural awards, organised by the British Sign & Graphics Association (BSGA) attracted around 250 entries supported by nearly 700 images, across all signmaking categories. All entries were judged ‘blind’ by a panel of sign makers. With Zeta Specialist winning Sign Product of the Year.

Zeta’s Solar Signage kit fought off stiff competition to pick up the prestigious accolade, with the judging panel considering a number of factors, including machine, material, component, technology and service, to select the product that in their opinion has made the greatest impact on the industry.

The kit is a bespoke solution for lighting outdoor totems and monoliths, that includes discreet and flexible PV solar panels, an LED embedded panel, light guide panel, a PS800 control system, long life batteries, and, if required, PIR movement sensors; to a number of sign makers.

Most recently, the company worked with IS Group, a manufacturer specialising in customised signage solutions on two projects – Liverpool ONE, the city’s premier destination for shopping, and The Pier Head on the city’s waterfront.
