Deepdale Shopping Park fully let with the arrival of Wilko

Hercules Unit Trust (HUT) and LaSalle Investment Management are pleased to announce that Wilko, the high-street home ware and household goods retailer, has taken a 10,400 sq ft store on a 10-year lease at the Deepdale Shopping Park in Preston. The park is now fully let.

A £16m extension at the centre was completed last year delivering an additional 45,000 sq ft of retail space which was 100% pre-let to Wren Living, Sofaworks, Harveys and Oak Furniture Land.

James Varley, asset manager for British Land, said: “Wilko is a great addition to Deepdale and joins a host of well-known stores, strengthening and complementing the wide-ranging and high-quality offer already in place. This letting demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers by continually evolving and upgrading the mix.”

Deepdale Shopping Park is a 280,000 sq ft shopping park in Preston, Lancashire. This is a prime retail scheme with a strong line up including M&S, Boots, Next, Outfit, New Look and River Island.

HUT is advised by British Land and managed by Schroders. HUT and LaSalle Investment Management were represented by Wilkinson Williams and Harvey Spack Field.
