Momentum Instore’s strong display recognised with POPAI award nomination

Macclesfield-based Momentum Instore has been nominated for a prestigious POPAI award.

A finalist in the ‘Installation’ category, Momentum has been recognised for its work implementing fragrance counters on behalf of Boots’.

The high street health and beauty retailer wanted to increase sales and market share within the fragrance category, and Momentum was selected to deliver the project. To achieve its objectives Momentum Instore re-launched the look and feel of the offering, relocating mass merchandise and premium into one area.

The scale of the project was a highlight for the company, with a total of 3,727 units installed across 135 stores – and all completed out of trading hours within 11 weeks.

Rob Gleave, managing director said: ‘Having scooped four Gold awards in this category over the last two years, we know just how outstanding work has to be in order to be successful, so to have been nominated for our biggest and most complex of the year is a real accolade. This year has seen exceptionally stiff competition for the awards – with 220 entries, a record number – and we would like to extend congratulations to all of our fellow nominees.

‘These nominations, and indeed the growth of the business across all service offerings, are directly attributable to the outstanding team we have. There is a real buzz around the company, and we recently relocated to new, purpose-built office space in order to give employees an exceptional workplace environment. This will spur the company on to even greater achievements and further accolades as we embark on our strategic five-year growth plan.’
